I was searching for a good excuse to record Neo Geo Pocket Color content. Then I remembered that most of the "Trial" version cartridges were not recorded for YouTube.
I grabbed NeoPop and went to work!
I'll start with one people are more familiar with. Here's that Sonic demo with the neat animated intro!
Actually, as we dig deeper into Neo Geo Pocket Trials, it seems quite a few of them feature great-looking graphical sequences that aren't actually in the final game.
Note that I may have encountered some emulation issues - I'm pretty certain you're supposed to be able to go to act 2 straight from act 1, without needing to do Time Trial.
